So just in case you were wondering why we called this blog 'spy the harriet', it's after the fantastic children's book called 'Harriet the Spy' by Louise Fitzhugh. It was one of my favourite books when I was little and I made Jimbo read it when we decided on the name for the little monkey face. If you haven't read it then you should, it totally rocks.

Nice to see y'all are back!! This blog may be interesting to show Harriet when she's older. *gasp* The thought of her being older is kind of crazy......
anyhoo.
hi sarah
it's so true, i just can't imagine her being able to do things like walk and talk at the moment, she's just a little ball of boob-grabbing, crying and wide-eyed staring! i spose it's made all the worse because she has such a big boofer head in comparison to her long body, so she seems really out of proportion. cute though!
(I see that your comments are being spammed, by the way. Bummer!!)
You're right, all the boob grabbing and out of proportion body makes for one heck-of-a cute little Harriet.
I hope you go on with calling her 'Monkey Face' every now and then, though.
I think she's going to enjoy both of y'all being her parents, what with your humor and stableness. Best of luck!
I'd just like to point out that I also read and enjoyed that book as a kid.
But I've recently read "Harriet Spies Again" (not by the same authoer but authorised by her estate) which, if anything, is even better.
(sorry about the typo in the previous comment. I just can't help myself sometimes, it's becoming a bit of a problem actually.)
